Welcome to the FC Malaga City Senior Programme
Since 2013, our goal has been to establish a full-time professional team and provide a pathway for talented youth players in our academy to progress into the senior environment in Spain. We now have a first team competing in the Tercera Division and continue to improve our infrastructure each year, offering more opportunities and resources than ever before.
We identified a significant gap in the development of young players aged 18-23 in the professional football scene across different countries. Many young players are thrown into a senior environment and judged prematurely. To challenge this, we have created a club structure that offers a smoother transition and more playing time and development opportunities for young talented players. Striving for success is a fantastic vehicle to enable young people to navigate through challenges and develop focus on their goals. “A Unique First Hand Experience Into a Professional Senior Environment Here in Europe”
FC Malaga City
FC Malaga City Senior sits at the pinnacle of our club pyramid, providing a stepping stone into full-time professional football here in Europe. We are proud to see a number of Academy Alumni represented in this team and aspire to see further success in developing players capable of competing at this level.
CD Almuñécar City
CD Almunecar City competes at the highest level of semi-professional football in Spain in Division de Honor. This provides the perfect platform for young talented players to test themselves at a very high standard with the hope of progressing into our first team.
FC Malaga City U23/U21
Our U21 and U23 squads provide our first entry points into senior football with an emphasis on development and preparing players for competitive league play. These teams have played a crucial role in the development of a large number of players who now find themselves in FCMC and CDAC senior.

Placements & Loan System
At FCMC, we have an extensive professional network with teams in the region. This network allows us to create opportunities for players in local senior sides when we believe they are ready for competitive football.
This unique opportunity provides players with an authentic Spanish environment, benefiting both their playing skills and personal development. Please note that this is not guaranteed and depends on the requirements of each individual club. However, we have had great success with this method throughout our years of operation. We track our players’ progress while they maintain their full-time training with FCMC, and consider recalling them to join our senior sides at a suitable moment in the season.

The amount of Academy success stories represents a tremendous amount of hard work from both players and staff a like, as we continue to create new exciting connections and opportunities for our players to take full advantage of.

When we talk of milestones, nothing can be taken from the moment we officially called ourselves a nationally recognized football club with our FC MALAGA CITY senior team now competing in a professional league in the TERCERA RFEF.
A dream that started out just as simple idle talk, would have looked like the impossible a decade ago, yet here we are, pinching ourselves almost 10 years later, with a platform and pathway that cannot be rivalled for player development. Despite our success in recent years we remain resolute in our core values of believing in young people.
