Congratulations to FC Malaga City Academy graduate Kasper Mikkelsen, who has signed for Tercera División club CD Madridejos after a successful trial period.
The Danish playmaker joined FC Malaga City Academy in our inaugural season in 2015 and has made significant progress on the pitch during his time at the club.
Kasper was invited to complete an extended trial at Granada CF U19s in the 2015, and spent the 2016/17 season at UD Los Barrios on our recommendation.
After completing the season at UD Los Barrios, Kasper returned to our senior team CD Almuñecar City, becoming a prominent figure in the club's success.
George Jermy, Academy Director at FC Malaga City Academy, commented: "Kasper has shown tremendous work ethic and attitude during his time here and his progress on the pitch has been remarkable.
We're really proud of Kasper's progress and he's proof to our younger players that if you have patience and work hard on your game then professional football can come."
