To be able to partner with such an illustrious Premier League club as Tottenham Hotspur is a dream come true for the Academy. Having access to Tottenham Hotspur Global Football Development coaches to support our own coach development, will provide a huge opportunity to not only improve our player performance but also continue the growth of FC Malaga City. We are looking forward to bringing our youth players and coaches across to London to visit the world-class facilities and create some memorable experiences.

FC Malaga City is delighted to announce a new innovative Global Football Development partnership with Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur. Started in September 2022, this working partnership sees FC Malaga City work side by side with one of the world´s leading football clubs, sharing best practices and using renowned, authentic training methods taken directly from Tottenham´s Academy to maximize the potential of our aspiring Academy players.
Tottenham's coaching staff will deliver interactive and informative coach education workshops in Spain, as well as host quarterly visits to their state-of-the-art training facilities in London for FC Malaga City staff members. In addition, Tottenham Hotspur will also host two football development residential visits for FC Malaga City players, providing high-intensity training sessions, matches against selected Academy opposition and the opportunity to hear from guest speakers across the Club.
COACHING SESSIONS
Tottenham's expert coaching staff will deliver interactive and informative coach education workshops throughout the season from our Academy HQ in Spain, so our staff can learn and experience first-hand the Spurs coaching philosophy in operation.
Tottenham's Global Football Development will also oversee and deliver sessions throughout the course of the year for our Academy players, allowing our players to experience the ideas and methodology of an elite-level football club and work with experience coaching staff.

Having seen first-hand the great work that FC Malaga City is doing in Spain, we are delighted to be able to support their vision and play a part in the development of their players and coaches.
Tottenham will host two football development residential visits for FC Malaga City players, providing high-intensity training sessions, matches against selected Academy opposition and the opportunity to hear from guest speakers across the Club. We have had the pleasure to meet former professional players such as Jermaine Defoe and Yaya Toure on our visits so far!
This partnership provides us unrivaled access into one of the biggest clubs in world football, allowing our players and staff to take full advantage of the opportunity to work, play and learn from the highly experienced team at Tottenham Hotspur.

The partnership highlights FC Málaga City and Brisbane City FC’s commitment to establishing strong global networks and promoting the exchange of knowledge and expertise in football development.
This partnership further enhances our international reach not only within Australia but on the global stage. The collaboration will open up avenues for player exchanges, training camps, and joint initiatives to promote football at the grassroots level. Both clubs are eager to begin working together and have already commenced discussions on the implementation of programs and initiatives. The partnership will facilitate the exchange of coaching techniques, training methodologies, and scouting expertise, ultimately benefiting the players and the broader football community in both Australia and Spain.
